How to Care: Cocoa Fruit Plant
How to Care: Cocoa Fruit Plant
Watering: Keep soil consistently moist but not soggy. It prefers slightly humid conditions — misting the leaves helps indoors.
Sunlight: Loves dappled or filtered sunlight. Outdoors, keep it under light shade. Indoors, place near a bright window without harsh rays.
Soil: Use a rich, loamy mix with good drainage. Adding organic compost or cocopeat boosts moisture retention and nutrients.
Temperature: Keep it warm and protected — this is a tropical native! Avoid cold drafts or temperatures below 15°C.
Fertilizing: Feed monthly with a balanced organic fertilizer. During fruiting, a potassium boost can help enhance pod development.
Pruning: Trim for shape and airflow. Remove weak or crossing branches to keep it healthy and bushy.
💡 Each beautiful pod contains cacao beans — the raw form of chocolate! Even if you don’t process them, the yellow-orange fruits and white pulp are an exotic joy to grow and share.

the packaging was honestly top notch. came moist, no damage at all. repotted and it took off within a week.

plant came healthy, roots strong. just make sure to mist it if your house is dry. mine loves the humidity.

i bought it just for the story — who wouldn’t want to grow their own chocolate?? totally worth it for the look alone.

fast delivery and plant looked even better than expected. can’t wait to see the first pods appear 😍

i had doubts but this is legit the real cacao tree. already dreaming of harvesting my own chocolate in a year or two!
